What Sets Us Apart:
Redken Academy
One Beauty Grande Prairie is officially a Redken Academy. Our colour is all Redken as well as hair care and retail. Redken has proven to support and nurture stylists with education second to none and our teachers and students will have a great advantage to this new partnership. Secondly, 75% of the salons in our area use Redken in their companies, having students trained in the products the salons use will increase job placement and create ease in transitioning students from school to the salon.
Milady Curriculum
Milady is the same curriculum used in Alberta Trade exams. Hairstyling is one trade that does not have a universal language; meaning if you learn a haircut in one program, while the techniques may be the same as in another, it will likely be called something else. Confusing, right? We want to set you up for success by using the same language used in government exams so when you take your provincial exams its one less thing you need to worry about!
Fully Accredited
Our school is a fully accredited government compliant cosmetology school in the Peace Region, held to the highest industry standards. Our accreditation allows students to qualify for financial aid, grants, and scholarships.
